Want to learn more about Jill? She answered some questions about her life and work for us:

What is the most exciting project you EVER got to work on?

With you guys… all the imaging which I love!

Not with you… TV work – voice over for TV commercial ‘Protect your bubble’ or appeared in the film as an extra ‘Bridget Jones The Edge of Reason’ or was a TV presenter for a fashion based programme… many years ago!

There are more but too many to list! And really, really, REALLY looking back… I appeared on most Suzanne & Trinny programmes helping fit bras @What Not to Wear.

What is the most exciting project you worked on this year?

I love working for BBC Radio London and reviewing the papers which I do every week or so!

Can you give us a short history of what you do?

Cool, bright, warm, friendly, husky, informative… Jill’s ability allows her to cover many styles, ranging from bright and youthful, with sexy undertones, to warm and friendly for narration projects. Working from her professional home studio, Jill is able to work to tight deadlines and is easy to work with and produce. Jill is able to supply sessions in a variety of formats, including WAV and MP3, within 24 hours.

How did you get into voice acting?

I was marketing director of a famous lingerie company – Rigby & Peller, then went into television presenting and radio presenting which I loved. I kept being asked to do commercials for my station when I was the afternoon presenter on Time 106. FM… so I thought… OHHH I guess I got a voice for commercials etc, so finally settled in my home studio which I love every day!!!

Who is your role model in the voice over/acting industry?

Philip Chryssikos!! 😉 Coz I live with him and he taught me all I know!!!

How do you warm up to record each session?

I take the script and read it out loud 3-4 times only then and after that select RECORD! And loads of warm water!

Could you tell us something about you that we could not find anywhere in your CV/Website/Social Media profiles?

I used to fit Cherie Blair, been in her bedroom at No. 10 Downing Street to find her the perfect fit for my family business, Rigby & Peller which I was Marketing Director/Director for many years. Also, did the same for the late Princess Diana and many other celebs and royals… too long to list… so basically I was a boob girl before I ended up in ‘Voice’!
