Thanks Ron, I was once, some time ago, using Pro Tools on a daily basis and had to change the shortcuts on AU to match – forgot I could do that. Mike, Adobe must be raking it in!

The Photoshop CS6 link is to a beta version (released Wednesday by Adobe for anyone to try). There's no sign of a new Audition trial yet Alexey.

Agree 5.5 was 'work in progress' but there are some slight improvements (two steps back one step forward) it still cost around £90 to upgrade. Thanks Ron for the excellent shortcut tip!

Ctrl+M was just a shortcut for Insert into Multitrack. Audition CS5.5 still has that command, but the keyboard shortcut is for something different now. You can change this if you like from the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog, but the new default shortcut is "Ctrl+Shift+I".

I avoided 5 because I'd read many reviews saying it was work in progress and they removed some of the features I like in 3 like Ctrl+M. I await for your review of 6 Mike Russell. http://www.kevinfield.co.uk

I hope those features will appear Mark. I liked the ability in 3 to preview tracks natively and not in a media player (helps when listening to hundreds of imaging sound effects quickly). Also, I liked the Ctrl+M shortcut to insert tracks into the multitrack from 3.

Need back the ability to audition audio through its explorer window prior to inserting tracks into a multi-track edit. I currently have to use the bridge from the video editing package.
Also must have the facility to group wavs in multi track to move them around as blocks like previous editions.
